B.A Psychology and Journalism

In Compliance with NEP, B.A degree is a three year under graduate program with fourth year leading to an honour’s degree. The Psychology course involves the scientific study of human behaviour and mental processes. The Journalism course understand the basics of journalism and recognizes the contributions of the renowned journalists to the field of print media. The Optional English & Communicative English courses examines English literature, language, history, and phonetics via novels, dramas, epics, and poetry written by renowned English authors from the past and present Graduating with a B.A degree helps students to provide career opportunities in various sectors like, healthcare, education, mental health support, social work, therapy, counselling, research ,editor, proof reader, photo journalist ,reporter and many others fields as well as for graduate or professional studies in English, communications, or law. The students also have the choice to pursue other courses of higher education after completing B.A

A Candidate may opt for any two core subjects for B.A. degree honours degree programmes. However, the candidate may opt for both the arts subjects for the B.A degree/honours degree programmes . A candidate may also opt for one subject and one vocational subject for B.A degree/ honors degree programmes. In the third year of the programmes, candidates have to choose any one of the two core subjects as major or continue both the subjects as majors.
