Youth Red Cross

“The Youth Red Cross” is a constituent of the Indian Red Cross Society (Karnataka), a group movement organized at the initial stages for students between 18 to 25 years of age. The hope of every nation in the world is its young people. We, in our institution, prepare our students to be caring citizens so that they have an opportunity to touch the lives of the needy and the helpless.

National Service Scheme

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a program initiated by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports of the Government of India to encourage student youth to participate in various government-led community service activities and programmes. The goal of the NSS is to provide students with practical experience in community service. The motto of the NSS, “Not me But You,” promotes the idea of selfless service and democratic living.

The NSS unit at Montfort College aims to develop students’ personality through community service and has several objectives, such as developing a sense of social responsibility and leadership qualities, promoting national integration and social harmony, and acquiring skills in problem-solving and community participation.
