In Compliance with NEP, B.Sc. degree  is a three year under graduate program with fourth year leading to an honour’s degree. Statistics is the language of the current information era, which is filled with uncertainty. This curriculum is a compact blend of thorough Statistics courses plus and an adequate amount of Mathematics, Operations Research  and Computer Science courses to complement and provide variety after completion of the degree . The Mathematics course covers the fundamental ideas of spatial and numerical connections, including differential and vector calculus, probability and statistics, solid geometry, and differential equations. Mathematics students, can pursue a career in data analysis which is currently in high demand. The Computer Science helps to course gain a broad perspective about the uses of computers in the   Software industry. The Journalism course understand the basics of journalism and recognizes the contributions of the renowned journalists to the field of print media. The Psychology course involves the scientific study of human behaviour and mental processes. Graduating with a B.Sc degree helps students to provide career opportunities in various sectors like banking, research, IT industry, healthcare, education, mental health support, social work, therapy, counselling, research ,editor, proof reader, photo journalist ,reporter  and other organizations. Mathematics provides a plethora of opportunities in almost all areas. The students also have the choice to pursue other courses of higher education after completing B.Sc.

A Candidate may opt for any two core subjects for B.Sc. degree honours degree programmes. However, the candidate may opt for both the science subjects for the B.Sc degree/honours degree programmes .A candidate may also opt for one subject and one vocational subject for B.Sc degree/ honors degree programmes. In the third year of the programmes, candidates have to choose any one of the two core subjects as major or continue both the subjects as majors.
